What to expect
Whether this is your first time hiring a photographer or not, it's important to know what you’re getting and what to expect.
We do things a little differently. We can easily put you in front of a sunset and tell you exactly how to pose and take beautiful images, facilitate staged moments, and set up awkward poses. But It’s way, WAY more than that to us. It's capturing moments of real, raw emotion that will make you look back and smile at a photo where you were experiencing something real. That doesn't mean we are totally hands off. Rather, we work in a way that brings out natural and interactive moments that are captured throughout each session and/or wedding.
If you’re just wanting a photographer to show up and get the typical, posed, “perfect looking” shots, we might not be the best fit and that’s totally okay, because you deserve to have a photographer that will fit exactly all your wants and needs.
Rather than just 'checking photos off the list,' let's focus on creating— together.
Connection & Trust Authentic Imagery
Our main focus is that our couples are having a good time.
Most couples show up uneasy, apologizing for being awkward. But by the end, they’re going on about how easy and fun it was. Trust me, getting photos taken doesn’t have to be stressful or awkward, and we will make sure you have a good time. We've got you!
You probably haven’t been a bride or groom before so you’re figuring all of this stuff out as you go.
Good thing weddings is what we do! We have knowledge when it comes to wedding do’s, don’ts, permits, maximizing your day, creating memories with your friends and family, planning, and strategy on how to get ready for your wedding. We're happy to help in any way—big or small—to make sure this is a stress-free experience for you and the love of your life!
We value photography as something so much more than a "to do." You may not realize it now while you’re so focused on who’s sitting where, bridesmaid dresses and florals, but photography is really the only thing that lasts past your wedding day. The number one thing we hear from couples who went cheap on photos for their wedding say they regret it. It’s something that will only increase in value over time as the images get passed down for generations. It's the start of your little legacy.
